June 2005 iemens as partner for sport:New access and ticketing system for the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium

The City of Stuttgart has commissioned Siemens to set up a new access and ticketing system for its Gottlieb Daimler Stadium. The new system must meet the high demands of both the Organization Committee and FIFA for the World Cup 2006. Siemens Communications will handle the project management and install, together with its partner Skidata, a solution that implements state-of-the-art methods in access control and security. Winning this bid gives Siemens the opportunity to now bring another German sports stadium up to FIFA standards after the AOL Stadium in Hamburg.
