HiPath Workpoint Clients are a family of digital phones, IP phones and software
clients for use with the HiPath Communication Platforms . They support a wide
variety of performance levels to meet different needs of users. Depending on a
workpoint client's capabilities and the customer's application, the HiPath

powerful communication features. Workpoint clients from Siemens support a wide
array of industry standard protocols such as analog, ISDN BRI, IP, H.323 and
SIP.
The Siemens HiPath telephones share the award winning optiGuide
context-sensitive user interface allowing users to easily navigate even through
rarely used features and minimizing the need for special user training.
The HiPath optiPoint series offer a variety of IP and TDM phones, which provide
the full suite of HiPath features to the end-users, independent of the
connecting infrastructure. Siemens also offers mobile communication clients,
which enable selected feature access from any location via existing wireless
networks. The HiPath Cordless phones are based on the DECT/GAP-standard and
offer optiPoint features in a wireless environment.
