Siemens introduces HiPath 1800 key telephony system to Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) Market in China

Siemens Business Communication Systems Ltd. (SBCS) today announced the official release of HiPath 1800, the latest key telephony system targeting the SME market. With the HiPath 1800 and Profiset 1800 key phone, Siemens brings the latest state-of-the-art digital communication experience to SMEs in China, offering customers a powerful mix of reliability, technical design and ease of use, backed up by the German brand. The SME users are able to benefit from the easy, reliable and powerful communications at an affordable price. The launch of HiPath 1800 further strengthens the positioning of Siemens in the entire business communication market in China.

Specially designed for China SME customers, HiPath 1800 offers reliable, easy and powerful communications for competitive business environment. Built on a digital core with the latest integrated Subscribe Line Interface Chip (SLIC) components and design, HiPath 1800 ensures a high level of reliability and stability to the crucial business communication. Furthermore, HiPath 1800’s intelligent design provides a solution for the common problem of trunk-line blocks in China, so that the customer can rely on the most efficient use of the communication infrastructure.

Easy and convenient communications
HiPath 1800 allows more easy and convenient communication experience. The system offers a choice of Chinese and English language. Siemens has designed the HiPath 1800 to be used with a minimum of training, both installation and user operation can be handled in a minimum of time. As such, the enterprise customer can concentrate on its core business. With Caller Line Identification Presentation (CLIP) functionality, the users are able to identify the caller’s number instantly (require operator enablement).

Furthermore, HiPath 1800 offers a powerful package of built-in features, without the need to pay for extra options. The enterprise customers benefit from the well designed functionalities including auto attendant, 5-party conference, call charge system, and more than 100 other useful telephony functions to empower the daily business.

Easy system management
With iManager, the powerful software management system, users can manage operation of the system easily and conveniently via a user-friendly Windows-based Graphical User Interface on a standard Windows PC.

Ideal for your desktop – Profiset 1800
At the mean time Siemens has rolled out Profiset 1800, the digital key phone offering the most demanding features of today's voice communication. The users are able to enjoy the comfortable communication experience with its Liquid Crystal Display in either Chinese or English language, full duplex hands-free, and 20 multi-level function keys with LED.
