The HiPath
4000 is the powerful IP convergence platform for corporate enterprises that
is optimized for medium to very large-scale configurations. It operates
in packet-switched, circuit-switched or mixed system environments, without
compromising full feature richness, reliability and security of traditional
communication systems.
HiPath 4000 delivers practical convergence, supporting the migration from
circuit-switched to IP while retaining the value of in-place investments.
The HiPath 4000 IP distributed architecture provides greater flexibility
in building and expanding the infrastructure. It allows attractive options
for large campus, high-rise building or branch office sites by providing
the full performance of the HiPath convergence platform and the advantage
of a single system with single administration and maintenance. Remote users
are connected directly to the HiPath 4000 at the main site. They will be
able to leverage on the applications located at the host site over the enterprise
IP network. In addition to all the voice-centric features, HiPath 4000 supports
a selection of standard-based IP Applications for multimedia
communication. The applications are installed centrally and are accessible
from workpoints throughout the distributed architecture, resulting in cost
savings for purchasing, installation, integration and maintenance.

saving for customer
| |
Customer
can use existing IP network for both data and
voice, no separate network for voice needed anymore.
IPDA
enables customer to use central applications for
the whole network (e.g. attendant console, voice
mail, call center, call charge, etc.). Customer
saves communication costs by using VoIP instead
of external calls between branch offices. Customer
can use one central management system for
MACs (Move Adds Changes) throughout the whole
network. Web-based
management system enables customer to reduce
training and service costs. No
new investment needed for IP-convergence: HiPath
4000 is fully IP-enabled. |
